The Blossom & Fruit Route (77 km)

Close to Gorinchem lies the Betuwe, also known as the fruit garden of the Netherlands. The route follows the idyllic river Linge, which is the centrepiece of this fruit and flower-filled area. The Blossom & Fruit Route takes you over the Lingedijk to Arkel and Leerdam. Along the way, you will encounter several dyke villages and the nature-rich Mariënwaerdt Estate. Don't forget to stop a few times along the way to enjoy the many fruit trees that abound in this area. This route is especially beautiful to cycle in the spring.

The Waterline Route (56.8 km)

During the Waterline Route, you will learn more about Gorinchem's unique fortification history. By bicycle, you will discover the forts of the New Dutch Waterline, such as Fort Vuren, Loevestein Castle, Woudrichem Fortress, Fort Altena, Fort Bakkerskil, and Fort Steurgat.
